Australian Money Game for Kids
Shopping for Groceries
About this Australian Money Game:
This Australian money game is a ‘Grocery Shopping Game’. It is a counting money game. The activity is a highly engaging Maths activity that provides students with a hands-on way to practise counting money!
How to Play this Printable Australian Money Game:
To play this game players take turns selecting food cards to fill up their grocery bags. Every card has a price, so students must pay for each item by counting out the correct amount of money from their “wallets.”
Once all players have filled their bags, they all count their money to see who has the most left. For an added challenge, two coupon cards allow players to subtract money from the purchase prices.
