FACT FAMILIES ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION GAME
Your students will have great fun playing this game and practising their addition and subtraction skills at the same time. The cones, ice creams and addition chart need to be printed, cut out and may be laminated to increase durability. I would also print and laminate one copy of the recording sheet and store it with the activity, in a file folder or plastic pouch.
Differentiation is very easy as you may present only the ice cream cones appropriate to the year or ability level of the group of children. There is a recording sheet included to take the children one step further in their learning. It also provides the teacher with great feedback from the activity.
You will find:
- Rules of the game
- Suggestions for use
- Ice cream cones from 2-20
- Strawberry, mint, chocolate, vanilla ice cream balls with the numbers 1-19
- Addition Chart
- Recording sheet
